Diploma Of Sustainability
The Diploma of Sustainability is an exciting new one-semester course at the South West Institute of Technology. It explores the relationship between the economy, society, and the natural environment and how to apply sustainability principles in practice. The course enables any student enrolled in any Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification to also enrol in the Diploma of Sustainability to gain a "double-major" qualification. There are 4 core units being offered via facilitated sessions on Tuesdays from 6.00pm - 9.00pm and students can draw the 10 elective units from their major field of study. The course commences on Tuesday 21 Feb and runs for 18 weeks to Tuesday 3 July 2012 at the Bunbury campus of the South West Institute of Technology. Where a student has reached the Tuition Fee cap of $606, the Diploma of Sustainability will only cost an additional $96 in resource fees. Higher fees will apply for part-time students who haven't reached the Tuition Fee cap, or if a person has previously completed a Diploma/Advanced Diploma.
