The South West Institute of Technology is situated within an educational precinct that incorporates Manea Senior College and Edith Cowan University.
This co-location of the three organisations is further enhanced by strong partnership arrangements that have underpinned the development of seamless learning pathways for students.
Students from Manea who have chosen a vocational pathway spend two days of their school week engaged in vocational courses at the South West Institute of Technology.
On completion of their vocational course, Institute students may find they have entry into/or credit towards a degree course with ECU. For example students completing the Certificate IV in Health Science Foundations or the Diploma of Enrolled Nursing will be able to go on to a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) offered by the Bunbury Regional Campus of Edith Cowan University.
