Margaret River Campus

Margaret River Education Campus

Set in a pristine natural environment the Margaret River Education Campus is located in an area renowned for the production of premium wines that is also widely recognised for its distinctive contribution to the creative industries, as well as the tourism and hospitality sector.

The campus, which is a collaborative initiative between the South West Institute of Technology, Curtin University of Technology, Edith Cowan University, the Margaret River Senior High School and the Department of Education and Training was opened in May 2004 and has consolidated its reputation for delivering a range of learning opportunities and education pathways that enable students to cross seamlessly between secondary, vocational and tertiary learning.

Incorporating a Centre of Wine Excellence the Margaret River Education Campus provides a world class training venue for practical and theoretical elements of wine grape growing, cellar operations, cellar door sales and wine tourism industries.  The sophisticated research and tasting facilities coupled with a working winery for hands-on experience makes this the premier provider of wine industry training for the cultivation, manufacture and bottling, as well as the promotion of wine sales at the cellar door.
