Training helps you create a brighter future
The facilities on the campus are outstanding and what you would expect in a modern campus including:
The philosophy of the campus is to provide a variety of academic pathways for students and remove obstacles to higher learning.
Margaret River Senior High school students have access to the campus facilities and Year 11 and 12 students take part in on-campus courses in art, horticulture, IT, viticulture and wine making. The campus offers high school students the unique opportunity to gain vocational qualifications prior to finishing school and continue their education at the campus.
The campus opened in April 2004 and currently has approximately 500 students enrolled completing a myriad of qualifications, including academic courses and vocational programs, developed in consultation with local business, industry and the community to provide the best and most locally applicable courses possible.
Centre of Excellence
Located on the Margaret River Campus is the South West's Centre of Excellence for wine making. The facility has a State of the art wine tasting laboratory, temperature controlled, with neutral air constantly being renewed along with built in spittoons for each person with running water and white tasting benches making an excellent environment for sensory evaluation. Additionally the facility contains a wine cellar, preparation room and research laboratory. The main laboratory is well set up with the required equipment for winery analysis.
The winery is set up for small batch winemaking, ranging from experimental batches of 10L to larger stainless steel tanks ranging in size from 200L-500L allowing for more commercial volumes to be made by students. Oak barrels are also used in the process. Refrigeration is an essential part of modern winemaking and the winery has three cool rooms that can be set to various temperatures for different stages of winemaking.
The winery is situated in the heart of Margaret River which is considered to be one of the most premium wine growing regions in the world. Many local wineries support the Centre of excellence by donating grapes for students to make wine. The wineries also support the winemaking students by offering employment in various parts of their wineries and vineyards.

There are three computer rooms on campus with a total of 50 computers.
Computer Lab C4 (20 computers, 1 printer)
Computer Lab C5 (20 computers, 1 printer)

Two car-parks are available for students. We recommend that you lock your vehicle at all times. Disabled bays are located in front of the Administration Block and the Winery. Cars displaying an ACROD sticker are permitted to park in these bays. Bicycle racks are located near each building. It is recommended that you secure your bike whilst on Campus.
