The South West Institute of Technology aims to prepare you for the workplace and, should you be unable to attend classes,  it is expected that you will notify the lecturer.  This is not only a courtesy, but also promotes positive relationships and protects your interests.

Attendance is recorded in every class. If you are aged under 18 years and you are absent from a scheduled class your parent/guardian will be notified within 3 working days of the absence.
