At the commencement of your studies you will receive an Assessment Plan that outlines the assessments you will need to complete, along with their due dates.  You are encouraged to adhere to these guidelines as completion of assessments and submitting them by the due date provides evidence of your ability to work within time constraints.

If you fail to meet the due date for an assessment task and then also fail to complete the work within an agreed extension period, you will be deemed "not competent" in accordance with current college policy on this matter.  For more details on the importance of completing assessments on time, ask for a copy of either the policy or leaflet on Completing Assessments on Time from your lecturer.
